What type of finish do you use?
I use a mixture of Tung Oil and urethane varnish as my standard finish. It has proven to be very durable, resistant to water damage, and easily repairable if needed.
What creates the black on the furniture?
The tops of the furniture are a dyed black veneer over solid cherry. Other black parts of the furniture have been ebonized
What is ebonized?
Ebonizing is a process of dying wood black to emulate ebony. We use a black aniline dye.
Will the appearance or color change overtime?
The cherry will naturally darken over time developing its beautiful patina. The black will maintain its color.
What types of wood do you use?
I use all types of wood. I love working and trying new species.

Yes, it is my goal to accommodate you in whatever way possible.
Can I see your work in person?
Yes, a call ahead of time is strongly advised.
How do I care for my furniture?
